CHALLENGE: How can I dedicate myself to the work of dismantling my own racism as a first step towards racial justice?
SOLUTION: Co-founding a discussion group for white people in collaboration with the West-Island Black Community Association. A book club style group for white folx committed to confronting our own racism by listening to BIPOC voices with the ultimate goal of empowering others rather than assuaging our own white guilt. Used in marketing for the group, the series of illustrations includes the apple as a symbol of education pared with the various mediums that the group covers (literature, film, podcasts, etc.)
