CHALLENGE: A community bond campaign to raise funds for Brique Par Brique’s communal space.
SOLUTION: With the focus on local community investment, the form follows function. Instead of a glossy campaign, it shows up as something you’d actually see around the neighbourhood: rip-off posters. Faces are partially obscured to tap into our instinctive reaction to what’s missing, drawing attention before resolving it through a simple idea: this idea only works because of people — you, us — we’re the missing piece.
Client: Brique par Brique
Studio: Applied Archive Atelier
Art direction and design: Rachael Seatvet and Johnelle Smith
Campaign concept: Rachael Seatvet
Motion: Johnelle Smith
